Who am I?

In Buddhism, you’re not suppose to say I am this or I am that because it resides with ego and the ego is something made up by the mind. My ego has made up its mind and it says I am a writer, a dreamer, a star gazer, and hula girl at heart.

Me and Nick da Dawg June 2015

I love music, hockey, stargazing and not wearing pants.

My writer ego: I write quirky and sexy women’s fiction…Not quite romance. Not quite erotica. Not quite chic lit. I like exploring the minds of my characters and pushing their boundaries (like I do in my own life). As I push theirs, they push mine. Together, we explore the dark and cobwebbed corners of our minds. We may be frightened by what we find, but together, we’ll get out alive.

My dreamer and hula girl at heart ego: I believe one should always carry their passport with them because one never knows when an adventure just might come into their life, the Universe gives you answers, clues, and guides you where you need to go/be if you are open to the hearing/listening/seeing it, in the power of positivity and that you can manifest your own reality and in pushing my boundaries and pushing myself out of my comfort zone mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

My star gazer ego: I currently reside in South Carolina with my Australian Silky Terrier, Nick. Short of selling my soul to the Devil, I am the process of relocating and expatriating to Australia.

If you need more useless info about me: I enjoy the music of Jimmy Buffett and Rammstein equally. I prefer my coffee black, my wine red, and my movies to be cerebral. When I watch television, I watch hockey, Ancient Aliens, Doctor Who, Fast ‘n Loud, The Strain, Mythbusters, What Could Possibly Go Wrong, RuPaul’s Drag Race, or The X-Files. I cheer for the Detroit Red Wings (NHL), the New York Rangers (NHL), and the Charlotte Checkers (AHL). My favorite colors are purple and gray and yet, I keep finding everything I do in TARDIS blue. I wish upon the stars every night and I dream big, ask for the galaxy, and hope to catch a falling star.
