Holy shit, my depression filled self loved this song. A female singing emotions that I felt like I was battling. My head was like “whaaaa?!?!?” The first time I heard Beth, I fell in love with her voice. It is a voice that was given to her as a gift. It is powerful, emotional, and strong. This song was one of my go to songs I listened to when I thought no one could ever understand what I was going through or thinking. Through Beth’s heartfelt and emotional music and lyrics a girl struggling with feelings she didn’t understand was able to see maybe she wasn’t alone in the world.
