#1 – I’m grateful that I can bring my dog to work. It is a great way to relieve the work day stress.
#2 – As a much as it is a pain in the tushy, walking/running with the three furballs below keep me on my toes and light on my feet. I’m not the most coordinated person in the world but I somehow manage to keep up right and untangled amongst 3 leashes and 12 paws!
#3 – Hockey is back. Yes, I know it’s preseason and that the season doesn’t start for another 16 days, but I’ll take it in any way, shape or form. I love the sport. It was my savior and tether to the world when my mom passed away. The nights I couldn’t sleep, hockey kept me company as I came to terms with her death. I sat in arenas, lost in the game, instead of feeling lost. There is a quote that says, “We know that hockey is where we live, where we can best meet and overcome pain and wrong and death. Life is just a place where we spend time between games.” This quote and that game helped me in letting go.
