Changes

I have been in a mental battle with myself lately. The what I should be doing vs the what I should not be doing going at each other like a dog and a cat in battle.

Somewhere over the weekend, as I floated on a boat, reliving my teen years, life clicked. It finally said, “get your shit together.”

Maybe it was the words of Donavon Frankenreiter in “Let It Go” or the words of Thornley in “Changes,” and just maybe it was the spirit of Key West that filled my soul and heart with the answer I needed.

Today, I let go of what I should be doing vs what I shouldn’t be doing.

Today, I grab a hold of doing. I am motivated by those that do and that change. I want to do and and I want to change. Today, I take that step.

And it feels good to let go and move forward.
