Yes, I know funner is not a word.
I saw Matthew Ryan vs The Silver State on Wednesday and the word popped up. It’s been stuck in my head for days now. Sadly, only about 20 people got to see a completely fantastic and brilliant set and at the same time I was happy to be 1 of 20 because the performance was so intimate and touching. So if you’re reading this, please check out Matthew Ryan. Go see him when he comes to town because trust me it will be “funner” than whatever you were going to do that night.
Anyway, I’ve been re-inspired so to speak with my writing. I’ve found voices for once lost characters and it has been very overwhelming trying to focus on just one project when there are dozen voices in your head. These are good voices though. Not the ones that say you’re the next coming Messiah or to harm others.
The Dumbing Down of Love will hopefully be done within the next 2 to 3 months. Maybe earlier. I’m moved by these characters. They’re just trying to find love in this crazy world…maybe the fates are with them and they will…only they know and I’m waiting for them to finish their story just like they are waiting for me to write it.
