#1 Emigrate released a date for their new album. I know, you’re thinking, “Really? You’re grateful for that?” Yes, I really am grateful for that. If you know me, you know I LOVE RAMMSTEIN as much as I do Jimmy Buffett. Both are tied for number one position in favorite artist(s). Weird combo I know. Emigrate is Richard Kruspe’s (guitarist for Rammstein) side project. It has been 7 years since Emigrate released their debut album. SEVEN! I honestly thought there might not be another one, but there is one and it’s coming out in November the week of my birthday, and yeah, I already pre-ordered it. There’s also a few potential US dates rumored and you bet your sweet bippy I will try to make it to see Emigrate live.
#2 Ronnie. Ronnie is my gay BFF and I’m grateful I have him in my life and I’m grateful I can be there for him.
#3 My beliefs. I know it might seem weird to some that I believe in The Universe and signs and stuff like synchronicity, the power of numerology, and all that so called stuff other might say is “new age”. It works for me. It doesn’t have to work for you. I don’t criticize others for believing that the son of God was born to a virgin in a manger because it works for them. I’ve always believed that one should believe in whatever gets one through the day without stabbing someone. God, Buddha, Mother Earth, whatever gets you through. Own it and don’t let anyone tell you any different. Mine just happens to be a little bit of Buddhist, envisioning myself in a protective white light of Universal love and magic, and asking the Universe what great things it’s going to show me today.
