Hitting a Wall

Funny…as I sit here and type this, I realize the last time I wrote a blog I was listening to “I Hear a Symphony” from Matthew Ryan.  Maybe it’s funner.  Who knows?

I’ve got writer’s block.  Actually, I should say, I have a writer’s wall.  I’m staring at the wall and see nothing but a blank canvas.  I’m at a pivotal scene in The Dumbing Down of Love but can’t seem to get the words right.  It’s like the movie just ended and I’m sitting here in the dark waiting for it to start again.

All the while, brief scenes and characters are popping up in quick blinks.  Too fast for me to catch and a constant reminder of the need to write…write quickly…write smartly.

On a entirely different subject, I am completely hooked on Fringe on Fox.  The writing is sharp and quick and the action is fast paced.  I love trying to connect the conspiracy of what might happen.  (Yes, I was a fan of X-Files as well.)  If you haven’t seen it, I recommend it.  And speaking of shows I am hooked on also watch Eureka on Sci-Fi.  It is funny, entertaining, educating, and just great to watch!

Currently listening to “Sadlylove” by Matthew Ryan from East Autumn Grin
