Melbourne’s Vallée, released their 5 song EP “Radio” in May which was recorded by Beau Mckee (Closure in Moscow) at Oaklands Studio in Melbourne and mastered by Frank Arkwright (Bloc Party, Oasis, Coldplay) at Abbey Road Studios in London.
With the title track “Radio” reaching #1 on the Triple J Unearthed charts and the second single “Cuba” debuting #9 on the Triple J Unearthed charts, we can hear why the band is landing where they are on the charts.
The “Radio” EP is a catchy 5 song EP that will have you toe tapping and head bobbing within seconds of it hitting your ears. The songs are a perfect compliment to the summer sun and crashing waves of the beach. You can’t be in a bad mood while listening to the EP. Vallée‘s sound is so tight, high energy, and infectious that one would think they have been together for years, but they only formed in early 2013. Vallée‘s lyrics are catchy and honest and the melodies and harmonies are complimentary to them.
Our favorite track is a tie between “Spin” and “Cuba” – they were both so damn good we couldn’t decide. We look forward to following Vallée on their musical journey. We have a feeling you’ll be hearing more from them.
Listen to their “Radio” EP below and buy it, you won’t regret it.
