An perfect song to kick off the December mix especially since when I would arrive to Australia it would be there summer and the band is from Australia as well.

Another song for my Australia inspiration. Who wouldn’t want to travel all the maps of the world that Rand McNally put out?

This song came to my attention on a email from a label or some music based site pushing this band. I never really paid any attention to the band since it was a Hollywood actress looking to front a band, but this song is good.
Gold on the Ceiling by The Black Keys
What a booty shaking song!! If you aren’t toe tapping or moving your hips a little to this song, you better have your soul checked…and when I mean soul, I mean the funk in your soul.
Immigrant Song by Karen O, Trent Reznor, & Atticus Ross
A – Immigrant Song is my 2nd favorite Led Zep song (Tangerine being 1st). B – This cover is bad ass.

Will always be one of my Top 5 Crue songs and a reminder to live life to the fullest!

This song was in an episode of Season 9 of The X-Files and it just stuck with me the entire episode and the episode itself is one of my favorite ones of the entire series.
Shake Senora by Pitbull
I will admit without shame that my guilty pleasure is Pitbull. I listened to this song on the flight from ATL to LAX. Myself, Suzanne, & Heather had a little dance party in our seat to this song.

This song was playing in a store in Byron Bay and the 3 of us all at once were like WTF? After that, it became our theme song for the rest of Australia
Down Under by Men at Work
We heard this song on the radio traveling back to Sydney and I said, finally some of the song finally makes sense! Especially the vegemite sandwich and chunder.
