March’s message is simple: Everything’s gonna be all right.

“Three Little Birds” by Bob Marley
This song drifted into my head at the beginning of the month and has stuck with me through it out. My anxiety has been off the charts February and March. The attacks make everything seem it’s falling apart even if it may not be. My brain sees it as one way, but my soul fought hard and gave me this message: “don’t worry about a thing. Cuz’ every little thing gonna be all right…” And when anxiety was in high gear, I played this song and I heard it at random places. The Universe had my back even if my brain wasn’t seeing it. And you know what, it’s all gonna be all right.
“Make Me Uncomfortable” by Seavera
This song. This lyric: “…everyone is scared of genuine connection…”
“List of Demands (Reparations)” by The Kills
The Kills do a wonderful cover of this Saul Williams song.
“As Fast As You Can’ by Our Lady Peace
It was these lyrics “…girl, you run as fast as you can. Don’t give up…” that caught in my soul. They were a nudge from the Universe on what to do.
“Nanna” by Xavier Rudd & The United Nations
This song was for soul. To heal. To repair. To let me know that the Universe and my spirit guides are always by my side. These lyrics: “…stand strong in what I know, stand aside from the ego as they day turns into night through the breeze I hear you cry, I believe in you. I believe in you. I will pray for you. I will pray for you…”
“Motorcycle Emptiness” by Manic Street Preachers
There was just something about this song that stuck with me.
“Rise Up” by Imagine Dragons
Another song that just stuck with me. No particular lyrics just the over all vibe of the song.
“Disillusioned” by A Perfect Circle
I can not say in the right words how beautiful this song is. Maynard and crew just nail this song about being tied to our electronics so perfectly. These lyrics: “take a look around, find a way in the silence. Lie supine away with your back to the ground. Dis- and re-connect to the resonance now…”
“Nothingness” by Editors
Their new album VIOLENCE is fabulous and I think at this moment, this is my favorite song from the album. I’m my biggest fan and my biggest critic and this song just reminded me to show myself the same kindness I show others. These lyrics: “…We wait in line for nothingness. This angel needs some tenderness…”
“Rusty Hammer” by Xavier Rudd
I think I lost my spirituality last year and as I started to make changes over the last few months to regain it, I see the music of Xavier Rudd return to my life. For me, his music is that connection to Universe. These lyrics: “… I’m weeding an endless garden of positivity and happiness. If I’m bringing my soul to ya, bet ya money there’s a reason I believe. Building with a rusty hammer. Standing strong in the things that I’ve seen. If I’m bringing my soul to ya, coming at you with truth in my eyes. Building with a rusty hammer. Strong feeling everything gonna be just fine…”
“Walls” by Stokeswood
If you know me, you know I adore this Atlanta band. They are always fun, fresh, and funky! This is a new track from them and I love it.
“In Bloom” by Sturgill Simpson
This is just a great cover of Nirvana’s “In Bloom.”
