Track of the Day: “Beater” by Waterbodies

Canada’s WATERBODIES have released “Beater”, the B side to their single, “What the French Call “Les Incompétents” and it is another infectious tune. It’s upbeat with distorted vocals and fun drums. The noise sounds chaotic but it all meshes together wonderfully. Track of the Day: “Eat You Alive” by Emigrate

Words cannot describe how excited I am to have this song/video in my life. Actually, to be honest, I am just happy to have new EMIGRATE in my life. For those unfamiliar with EMIGRATE, the band is RICHARD KRUSPE of RAMMSTEIN‘s band. Not a solo project but another band. His words, not mine. Those who aren’t familiar with RAMMSTEIN may think EMIGRATE is similar in … Continue reading Track of the Day: “Eat You Alive” by Emigrate

Track of the Day: “Don’t Get Me Wrong” by Rolls Bayce

To be honest, I can’t remember how I stumbled onto Brisbane’s ROLLS BAYCE, but I do remember seeing the band name and thinking to myself, “you can’t suck with a name like that.” ROLLS BOYCE does not suck. Listen to their song “Don’t Get Me Wrong” below. It’s a fun and catchy tune. Track of the Day: “One” by Circle

It’s been 2 years since Sydney duo, CIRCLE, released a studio single and they’ve returned with the single, “One.” My ever loving 80’s synthpop heart has fallen for this track. It could have easily fit into the decade of excess and dayglo colors. CIRCLE is Radi Safi and Dan Shaw and other contributors include Rebecca Shave (keys, vox, percussion) Richard Bessell (guitar) and Josh Bush (drums). Listen … Continue reading Track of the Day: “One” by Circle

Track of the Day: “The Blue, The Green” by Lonely The Brave

LONELY THE BRAVE give us a touching and inspiring video for “The Blue, The Green”. I was actually moved to tears by the video as I’ve seen family and friends battle cancer. Though the video doesn’t state that’s what the character is battling in the video, it is a brother making sure his other brother lives life to the fullest. THIS DAYS WAR, available now Lonely the … Continue reading Track of the Day: “The Blue, The Green” by Lonely The Brave
