RECIPE: Kale Chips

I got this recipe from my friend Adrienne and am addicted! Who knew that I like…love, kale. This recipe is super easy.

INGREDIENTS
– 1 bunch of kale
– salt and pepper (or not if you don’t like it)
– Parmesan cheese (grated)
– Olive oil (as suggested by Adrienne, Pam Olive Oil spray. Ridiculously easy)
PREP
– heat oven to 350 degrees
– make sure you the rinse kale well. I spend extra time making sure all the dirt is rinsed from the crack and crevices of the leaves. No one wants a mouth full of dirt
– tear kale into pieces (you can chop w/ a knife as well. It’s easier to do by hand. I rinsed again through a strainer and then squeezed excess water out by hand. Make sure it’s relatively dry. No one wants a soggy chip.)
– spray baking sheet with olive oil
– in mixing bowl (I just used the strainer)
     – quick spray of olive oil
     – add salt, pepper, parmesan cheese (there are no precise measurements for me. Pinch of salt, I love pepper so I used a huge amount of fresh ground pepper, and cheese)
– toss all above ingredients
COOKING
– spread kale out on baking sheet
– I sprinkled more cheese on (there is no such thing as too much cheese)
– bake in oven for 10 minutes
Enjoy…I usually eat all of these within an hour…
