It’s 4 days into 2009 and though I have written various blog/journal entries, I have yet to write in The Dumbing Down of Love. And as I lay here in bed with a nasty cough, runny nose, a dog that wants to play fetch, and listening to Jimmy Buffett, I am only motivated to pull the covers over my head instead of writing. I didn’t reach the goal of finishing Dumbing before 2009 hit. Looking back, it was an unrealistic goal so my writing goal for 2009 is just to write at least 500 words a day. So in 2009, I will make time for writing and in doing so, I will finish all the projects I have in motion. It’s realistic and will also give me time to play fetch with the dog.
