Half Marathon Training Round 5 & 6

Week 5
Monday, July 15th
Nada…I don’t know what it is about Mondays that make it so hard to do anything.

Tuesday, July 16th
4.04 miles – 60.35 minutes – 14:56 average pace
I might as well have been running through hell with Satan chasing me with a flamethrower. At one point, I actually pondered if I could boil my insides from the heat outside, combined with the heat I was creating inside. MISERABLE.

Wednesday, July 17th
Yoga
Off Running day, thank goodness. I thought I had ruptured a kidney, spleen, appendix from Tuesday’s run.

Thursday, July 18th
2.14  miles – 28.15 minutes – 13:13 average pace
I kept it light because of my weekend schedule.

Friday, July 19th – Sunday, July 21st
Faster Horses Festival – 15 hour days – lots of miles around a venue at a race track

Week 6
Monday, July 22nd – Sunday, July 28th
Took the week off of working out and counting calories and watching what I ate.
