Geez freaking Louise, my triceps feel like jelly and my chest is feeling muscles that it didn’t even knew it had.
After being awakened at 2:30 in the morning by my apartment flooding (upstairs neighbor’s washing machine never turned off and just kept on running and running like the Energizer Bunny, flooding three apartments below him), I did not want to work out as scheduled. Mopping, ringing out towels, etc is hard on a sleep deprived body.
15 hours later with a relatively dry apartment…the floors anyway. The ceilings and walls…they’re still leaking in places.
I sat and had a whoa-is-me-my-life-sucks-but-at-least-I-didn’t-have-to-clean-up-sewage-silver-lining-pep talk and decided to suck it up and just do my schedule Day One Muscle Building Work Out.
There was no cardio. Bonus!
Day One: Chest & Tricpes (One Set x 3 Times)
12 pushups
12 dumbbell press
12 chest flys
12 pushups
12 triceps extensions
12 triceps push downs
The last set of pushups…ouch. I really need to work on my upper body strength. I didn’t want to work out but I’m glad I did after it was all said and done.
