Working Out

I hate working out. I hate everything about it. The aches, the pains, the act of it and so on. I do enjoy the benefits of it, so I put myself through the torture of it all. And to me, it is torture. Some people enjoy working out. I am not one of those. No matter how much endorphins are released, the very thought of working out makes me cringe.

Yet, I do understand the need to work out.

Today, I went on a walk/jog/run for the first time out doors since April 21st…I’ve done a couple of walk/jog/runs on the treadmill and it’s not the same. I realized how out of shape I was from my last run or how out of shape I felt.

It motivated me.

It put a fire inside me again. One to take care of myself physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.

I may not like working out but as I said, the benefits I do like.

So here I am, once again, making the world knowledgeable of my goals…

4-5 days walk/jog/run
3-4 days of strength
7 days of yoga

Now, I just need to stop making excuses.
